Case Study: Airport LED Display for a Gambian Customer

Background: A client from Gambia approached us to purchase several LED displays for installation in an airport, with a total of six different projects.

Result: Based on the client’s requirements, we recommended P2.5, P3, and P5 types. One of the projects was located in a semi-outdoor corridor, which had some shelter. Initially, we suggested using the P5 outdoor LED screen, but the client decided to standardize the screens with P2.5 and P3 indoor types. We followed their request and successfully delivered all the projects.

Ongoing Use: The LED displays have been operating smoothly for over two years, except for the screen in the corridor. Some of the lights have failed. We suspect it is due to the semi-outdoor environment. The other indoor LED screens have had no issues. We suggest it’s best to use outdoor LED display modules for semi-outdoor installations.
